FireFox

I hate FireFox. This is a bunch of (unsorted) reasons why.

Shortcuts, switching to next/previous tab, and the lack of help

The wrong translation.

I'm used to the lovely CTRL+, and CTRL+. shortcuts for going to the previous and next tab (that's Konqueror's default, IIRC). I wanted to switch tabs in FireFox with keyboard shortcuts, and somehow I got slapped in the face 4 times in a row:

  1. First, I checked in the UI if there was a way to see the keyboard shortcuts, and change them to my needs if I needed to. This is standard practice in the KDE world, so I dug in the menus, with no luck.
  2. Then I came to the Help menu. To my surprise, this is no help system at all, you are redirected to a website. Bad luck if you are offline.
  3. After a search, I found that there is indeed a shortcut to change to the next or previous tab. Unfortunately I can't find in my keyboard the eyelash key. What? Unfortunately, somebody did an awful translation, and instead of translating "tab" (tabulator) as "tab" (tabulador), translated it as "eyelash". After a second of two, I understood the mistake because I know enough English, but this "help" was quite useless to an average user.
  4. So at work, on Windows, I'm happy enough with the shortcut, but is useless at home, where that key combination is used by the window manager, so the applications can't see it. But how do I change it? The answer is as sad as this: you require a third party extension. In the support page, you are directed to the page of the customazible shortcuts add-on. That page is of course not translated to Spanish (not a problem for me, but for the average user, it can be). And here is the hilarious part: said add-on can't change the shortcut for switching tabs.
